Terms of service

Last updated 27 April 2026

These terms govern your purchase and use of 9eSIM hardware and any service operated at 9esim.com or webstore.9esim.com by SIMLINK Ltd. By placing an order or using the site you agree to them.

1. Who we are

SIMLINK Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (number 13985642). Registered office: Cambridge, United Kingdom. VAT number on request. Trading as 9eSIM.

2. What we sell

We sell physical SIM-form-factor hardware (the V0, V0 Max, V3 cards and the USB-A card reader) plus access to companion software apps. We do not sell eSIM profiles or carrier service. The cards are blank when shipped; you obtain profiles from any GSMA-compliant carrier or travel-eSIM service.

3. Orders & payment

An order is a binding offer once you complete checkout and receive an order confirmation email. All prices are in USD unless stated; taxes, customs duty, and VAT outside the UK are the buyer's responsibility.

We accept payment via Stripe (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay). Payment is captured at the time of order; we ship within 1–2 business days of capture.

4. Shipping & delivery

See our shipping policy at /shipping for delivery times, carrier list, and the customs/duty breakdown. Risk passes to you when the carrier marks the parcel as delivered. Lost-in-transit claims are filed with the carrier — we'll help, but the recovery timeline is theirs.

5. Returns & warranty

30-day return window for unused cards in original packaging. 12-month hardware warranty. The full terms — including what counts as 'used' — are in the shipping & returns policy. Warranty replacements are at our cost; user-caused damage is not covered.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use 9eSIM hardware or software to:

  • Bypass legitimate carrier billing or fraud-prevention systems
  • Hold or transfer eSIM profiles you don't have the right to use
  • Reverse-engineer the secure element with intent to clone profiles
  • Resell cards as a different product without disclosing the underlying hardware

We may suspend or refuse service to accounts that breach these rules.

7. Software licence

The 9eSIM Android app, MiniLPA, and the open-source LPA stack are licensed under their respective open-source licences (typically MIT or Apache-2.0; see the source repository for the canonical terms). The card firmware itself is not open source and is licensed for use solely with the card it ships on.

Third-party LPA tools (EasyEuicc, etc.) are governed by their own licences.

8. Liability

Our liability for any single order is capped at the total amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, data loss from a missed network connection, etc.).

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot be excluded under UK law.

9. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country gives you the right to use a local forum.

We always prefer to fix things directly first — message support before escalating.
